What happens now?

Spending two years living away from any sense of home or family, only now do I realize how to live... But I also realize that every achievement, every goal reached, every moment of victory is worthless if there isn't friends and family around to see it and to participate in it. The connections we have with these people define our existence and without these connections everything we do is pointless.

The Begining: Why?

Having just moved from Texas a couple years ago and since then having been bent over backwards with school and work, I've been unable to establish any hard true friendships. After a couple of months though of only school and work I really miss the connections I had with my friends, family and even coworkers back south. So even though the virtual world is a sad excuse to interact with people since your only using one sense well actually only a half a sense since all you can do is read, this is my area where i hope old connections can continue and valued new ones can begin.
